Providing education and training for learners aged 16-21, our CTC focuses on vocational programs leading to QQI Major Awards at Levels 3 and 4.

Our centre offers literacy and numeracy support, along with programs in Employability Skills, Pathways to Employment, Sports and Recreation and ICT, all designed to help learners reach their full potential.

Explore Our Courses

Our training centre equips our learners with the skills and knowledge needed for success in both education and the workforce. We focus on future-ready learning, providing practical training that helps support learners to progress to further education or employment.

Employability Skills (QQI 3)

This course includes Personal Effectiveness training and Work Experience, with elective modules in Computer and Internet Literacy, Communications, and Health and Fitness.

Sports and Recreation (QQI 4)

This course includes Personal Effectiveness and Health-related Fitness training, Communications, and Work Experience, with elective modules in IT skills, Mathematics, Sport, Food and Nutrition, Human Biology, and Workplace Safety Training.

Pathways to Employment (QQI 4)

This course includes Personal Effectiveness and Communications training and Work Experience, with elective modules in Mathematics, IT skills, Workplace Safety, Health-related Fitness, Customer Service, and Understanding Interculturalism.

Information and Communication Skills (QQI 4)

This course includes Personal Effectiveness and Communications training, IT skills and Web design, Digital Media training and Mathematics, with Work Experience and elective modules in Data Entry and Workplace Safety.

For applicants over 18: You must be in receipt of a social welfare payment to be eligible for the training allowance.


For applicants aged 16-17: You do not need to be receiving any payment, but you do need your parent’s permission.

Our courses are full-time and offered free of charge to learners.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm

No, prior experience or qualifications are not required.

No, all equipment and materials are provided at no cost.

Some modules include exams, while others are assessed through continuous assessment. Exam and assessment dates are arranged between you and your instructor, allowing you to learn at your own pace.

Your day begins at 9:00 am with class until 10:15 am, followed by a 15-minute breakfast break. Classes resume at 10:30 am, with lunch at 12:30 pm. After lunch, classes continue until 3:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch are provided at no charge.

Yes, learners have opportunities to participate in trips and days out, including sports days, college open days, competitions, and fun outings.

You will receive a training allowance for the days you attend the course, and breakfast and lunch are provided for free.
