Our Community Training Centre (CTC) learners had a busy run up to their Summer Break, and have achieved so much in the past months.

Four of our learners have completed their 2-week work experience over the last number of weeks. Work Experience is a mandatory part of our CTC learners QQI certification, and they gained valuable experience that will help them in their future careers. The learners completed their work experience in a variety of workplaces, including the Irish Cancer Society, St. Vincent De Paul, and East Wall Youth Service.

Nine learners also completed their exams in IT Skills, Web Design, and Word Processing over the past few weeks. These exams are part of learners’ work towards achieving their QQI Level 3 and 4 qualifications.

In the new academic year, several of our learners are now progressing on to Further Education and Post Leaving Certificate courses. We are so proud of their achievements and hard work over their time with us, and wish them well in their new courses.

The CTC also welcomes our newest member of the CTC staff team, Wayne Byrne. Wayne joins the CTC staff team as full-time Clerical Officer.
